To promote the use of sustainable, environmentally friendly energy, Live and Learn Environmental Education (Live&Learn) in collaboration with Vietnam Initiative for Energy Transition (VIET) held the “Energy Story” seminar on August 24, 2019 at the hall of French Cultural Center Le’space, Hanoi. The seminar attracted a large number of journalists, experts and young people to attend. The seminar has been a meeting place for state agencies, businesses, energy experts and NGOs to share ideas on recent hot issues: Vietnam’s current energy structure since the boom of solar power recently, current price of electricity in Vietnam and future power structure. The seminar opened up space for exchanging and discussing solutions towards developing a sustainable energy system, which is accessible to all.
The seminar was led by journalist Hoang Tu Giang, with the participation of speakers: Mr. Vo Quang Lam, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Electricity; Mr. Ha Dang Son, Director of the Center for Energy research and Green growth; Mr. Le Tung Anh, Chairman of the Board of Ecotech Vietnam; Ms. Ngo To Nhien, member of the Vietnam Initiative for Energy Transition (VIET); Mr. Tran Dinh Thien, Former Director of Vietnam Economic Institute.
