The energy transition is happening in Vietnam at an unprecedented rate with the booming of renewable energy with wind power being one of the two key sectors alongside solar. Realizing the high interest of investors in renewable energy sectors (especially wind energy) and preparing for such development, having a strong, skilled workforce in the field is a prerequisite.
Under The Clean, Affordable and Secure Energy for Southeast Asia (CASE) project, The Vietnam Initiative for Energy Transition (VIETSE) in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, GmbH (GIZ) will organize The block seminar which aims to provide updated information and knowledge related to wind power technology, especially offshore wind, to experienced engineers and technical personnel who are working in the conventional energy sector with an interest in the clean energy/power sector in general and wind power technology in particular. The Block seminar includes 2 sub-blocks on (1) Introduction to wind power technology and electrical module and (2) Deep-dive in wind power technology, installation and O&M, the block seminar will be organized through an online platform, with sessions designed in an interactive way to engage the participants.
The 1st Block Seminar “Introduction to wind power technology, grid integration, forecasting, electrical engineering” will take place between 13:30 to 17:45 (GMT+7), from 15 to 19 on November 2021, on the MS Team platform.
