Study on offshore wind integration – Review international experience on offshore wind power integration

This report focuses on the technical aspects of offshore wind energy integration and relevant international experiences, in particular:

(i) Integrating offshore wind power and grid control to support power system operation;

(ii) Aspects related to electricity market and system balance;

(iii) Offshore ownership: A third party owns and manages the offshore power transmission system;

(iv) The required international standards and

(v) International experiences in related matters.
